Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you all are having a relaxing day with family and are remembering why we even even have Christmas. Last night at the Mariners Church Christmas Eve service, the pastor mentioned this verse that precedes the well-known verse that prophecies Christ's birth: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. Happy Thanksgiving

I think this year I have so much more to be thankful for. Now, I'm not talking about material things, but things that have happened in my life and things I've learned. I've dealt with depression and a lot of friend issues over the past few years, and although those things definitely sucked, I am so thankful for them because they've made me stronger as a person and in my relationship with God.
