Over the last couple of years, I’ve been more and more drawn to the grandmillennial style that is becoming more and more popular. Also known as “granny chic,” grandmillennial style can be described as below.
What is Grandmillennial?
“Taking fringe, trim, chinoiserie, drapery, skirts on furniture, slipcovers, wallpaper—all of that–and updating them to be convenient for today’s 30-year-old” is what grandmillennial style is all about, according to interior designer Becky Boyle. … “It’s classically informed,” agrees designer Lilse McKenna.
One King’s Lane
From my understanding, this trend started out with interior design and home decor, and has now evolved into fashion as well. You can find the same kinds of prints and details on the clothing that you can find in a home.
A lot of the grandmillennial style of furniture and decor can be pretty pricey, but as this trend has become more and more popular over the last couple of years, I’ve been seeing it pop up in more affordable stores like At Home, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, and of course Amazon.
So, today I’m going to share some of my favorite grandmillennial finds from Amazon! Most of these are under $50, and if not, they’re still very affordable for what they are. For example, I bought a white & cane nightstand for under $100!
