Denim on Denim for Fall

I took a trip to Rogers Gardens in Newport Beach with a friend this past weekend to… well, take some cute fall pictures! They had their Halloween Boo-tique set up with tons of cute Halloween decorations, but also had Christmas trees out already and were beginning to set up the Christmas decorations! Since then, I’ve been trying really hard to resist giving in to getting into the Christmas spirit already.

The past couple days have been cooler than 75, cloudy, and it even RAINED on Sunday & Monday, so it’s finally beginning to feel like fall! Bummer is, it’s going to get back up to 91 by Friday.

Since it was so “cool” and fall-like, I decided to layer up in a couple new finds from Marshalls! Everyone needs a good chambray in their wardrobe, and I’m loving this diamond print one. It’s super versatile and can easily be dressed up with a pencil skirt for work or dinner, or dressed down like how I’m wearing it here with jeans and a vest (I love denim on denim for fall!). Speaking of this vest, I’m completely obsessed! Not only is the color amazing, but I just love the mountainous feel it gives the outfit. As you’ve probably been able to tell lately, I’ve been super into adventuring lately, so I know this vest will be useful this winter for when I go on hikes or other adventures!
