When it comes to Summer hairstyles, I usually go for easy windblown beach waves. I don’t like using a lot of heat on my hair during the summer for a number of reasons: 1. It gets way too hot to even use hot tools. 2. After swimming in the pool and spending time in the sun, putting direct heat on my hair is too much. 3. I like giving my hair a break for the Summer, too!
Ever since I started lightening and having blonde in my hair, I’ve used the John Frieda Sheer Blonde shampoo & conditioner, so when I found out about the NEW Beach Blonde products (that can all be found at Target!), I was super excited! If you don’t have blonde hair, you might be thinking, “Okay, I’m not blonde, so this post has nothing to do with me.” Well, sorry to break it to ya, but you’re wrong! The John Frieda Beach Blonde products are for all hair colors to give you that full beachy texture year-round. The shampoo detoxifies for texturized beachy fullness, and the conditioner rescues and detangles for soft touchable, texture. Bonus points: they both have a minty cool fragrance and sensorial experience!
I’ve been using sea salt spray to give my hair that beachy wave look for years, and even use it after curling my hair sometimes instead of hairspray. I started using the new John Frieda Beach Blonde Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray last week and love it so far! I love the captivating coconut scent and the fact that it doesn’t make my hair crispy and stiff, but rather soft & tousled.
Below is a bright & colorful beachy look that I felt went perfectly with my blonde beach waves.
