This past weekend, I had the amazing opportunity of attending BeautyCon, which took place at Siren Studios in Hollywood.
The first panel was all about the Pros and Cons of Being East or West Side featuring host, Meghan of MeghanRosette and Tracy & Stephanie from EleventhGorgeous (along with some other gurus who I didn’t know).
I came in late to the panel, but was able to ask the girls a question: “How do you manage both school and having a YouTube career?” They all basically said the same thing–that you just have to stay dedicated, even if it means staying up late or sacrificing your social life. If you’re passionate about it, then do it.
Met Stephanie & Tracy from EleventhGorgeous!
Getting my makeup done at the bareMinerals station!
I had already done my makeup, but the girl just added some more powder foundation, along with bareMineral‘s Mineral Veil powder, which keeps your face from getting shiny throughout the day. She also put on lipliner in Jazzed and lipstick in Never Say Never.
Having fun with The Dressy Chick at the bareMinerals & StyleHaul photo booth!
Some amazing fall shoes at the Lulu’s booth!

Lastly, we attended the #NYXFaceAwards, where 6 beauty gurus competed to win the grand prize of $25,000! Congrats to Missy of start2finishmua for winning!

“Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” 1 Peter 3:3-4
