Joshua Tree // Part Three // Pink Sunrise

If you haven't noticed, I've been slacking quite a lot on keeping up with my blog posts, and haven't posted anything in over a week! It's been driving me crazy because I love this space so much. The reason I haven't posted is because I've been so busy with my new job as the photographer/graphic designer/webmaster at Daisy Shoppe, and also went on a retreat with Mariners College Group this past weekend. Anyway, today I'm sharing the last of my Joshua Tree photos with you! Before heading to La Quinta & Palm Springs on my birthday trip last month, we woke up ear[...]

Sunset in Laguna Beach

Outfit Details: Roxy Dress (also available here), BP. Necklace, Miu Miu Sunglasses c/o Ditto This past Wednesday night I went to Laguna Beach... again! This time I went with my friend Nicole, who was living in Amsterdam for the last few months of 2015, and I hadn't seen her since she got back home. I'd say our feelings towards Laguna are mutual, which is why we always decided to meet up there! We wandered around downtown area for a bit, then started to take pictures on the beach towards the end of golden hour. Earlier that day, so[...]

Joshua Tree // Part Two // Split Rock Trail

For part 2 of my Joshua Tree series, I'm sharing pictures from our hike through the Split Rock Trail. As you can see below, there's a giant boulder at the entrance of the trail that basically looks like it was cut in half. Who knows how it got like that, but it looks so cool! The trail we took was a big loop of 2.9 miles that started and ended at the parking lot by the Split Rock. It was a pretty easy walk that basically anyone can do! There are a few places we stopped at to take pictures too (as you will see...). There were so many giant boulders! Bas[...]

Joshua Tree // Part One

A couple weekends ago, a few friends and I drove out to Joshua Tree to celebrate my birthday! I took SO many photos, so I'm going to share them in three parts. Joshua Tree National Park Visitor Center We checked out the visitor center for our first stop to pick up a map, and walked around a little trail that was honestly not too exciting. Silver Bell Mine The first stop after the Visitor's Center was a trail that led up to a couple old mines (not sure what the name of it is). It was a fairly steep climb, and unfortunately my exercise induced asthma k[...]

UncommonGoods at Home

I was just asked by someone last night, "What would you call your style?" My answer was kind of long and complicated, but I told him how I used to love pink and gold and glitter and polka dots and all this girly stuff, but not so much anymore. Over the past year, I've moved away from that girly glam style and have adopted a more natural & somewhat boho look, not just in the clothes I wear, but with how I decorate my home (bedroom) as well. I believe this has to do with my newfound love for travel and exploring the outdoors. When UncommonGoods got in touch wit[...]
