This week I had the incredible opportunity to attend MAGIC Market Week in Las Vegas as an online influencer/panelist at the WWDMAGIC Social House. I spoke on three different panels throughout the week that were about how brands can work with online influencers and build the reputation online (check back next week for a recap of these panels). It was so much fun and I met some amazing people and brands!
The brand that I was most excited about meeting with was Kate Spade New York. Kate Spade is my all-time favorite designer, so it was really exciting for me to get a sneak peak of their Fall/Winter 2015 shoe collection at FN PLATFORM. I met with Gabi who is one of the representatives for KSNY Shoes, and she told me a little bit about the line. Kate Spade’s theme for this year is “Escape the Ordinary,” which is kind of the theme of 2015 for me as well. I feel like I’ve been stuck in the same place for so long, and am craving adventure and new experiences. The FW15 collection clearly depicts this theme with its unexpected pieces. Kate is starting to incorporate a bit more edge in her designs, but is still keeping the girly and quirky touches that she’s known for. Keep reading to see some of my favorite pairs!
