Last Thursday, April 26, H&M released its new collection called Fashion Against Aids. The purpose of the collection is to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS in today’s youth and spread the message of safe sex. The first FAA collection was started in 2008, and since then, they have raised $6.5 million dollars for HIV/AIDS prevention projects. Some of these projects include: United Nations Population Fund, MTV Staying Alive Foundation, and YouthAIDS and Designers Against Aids. On the FAA website, you can upload your “kiss” picture, and H&M will donate $1 per entry. Also, 25% of every purchase goes toward HIV/AIDS prevention.
