It’s been raining most of the week here in Southern California, and is continuing into the weekend. I absolutely LOVE the rain & thunderstorms because it brings back fond memories from my childhood. Whenever we would have thunderstorms, my mom and I would order pizza and sit in the garage waiting for my dad to get home from work, watching for lightning.
Because we’ve been in quite the drought the past few years here in California, I didn’t have any real rain boots until this week. My mom found these adorable pink-soled boots at Walmart for less than $15!
I’ve mentioned before that Julia from Gal Meets Glam is a HUGE inspiration to me, and this outfit was even inspired by her. She posted this photo to her Instagram on Tuesday and I liked it so much that I recreated an almost identical outfit.
