As most of us know, weddings in spring are very common. It is always very important not to out-dress the bride, but still look chic and stunning. These are some outfits that I put together that will draw attention, but not steal the attention away from the bride.
The first outfit includes a lightweight red one-shoulder dress with ruffle at the neckline from Forever 21. This dress draws attention with the vibrant color, but will not steal attention away from the bride. To accessorize, wear a gold layered five chain necklace, a damask cutout bracelet, a cobalt blue leatherette embossed reptile skin handbag and nude glossy leatherette cork wedges, all from Forever 21. The contrast between the red and the blue is trendy and eye catching, following the spring trend of bold colors.
This next outfit is a light, glam look. This strapless bow dress from Nordstrom is bedazzled with rhinestones on the bow, giving it the right amount of glam. To add to the glamour, wear these jeweled drop earrings, a large studded stone ring and charisma croc clutch from Forever 21, and black Chinese Laundry pumps from Nordstrom.
The next look includes a cream daisy flower appliqué sleeveless dress from Topshop. The accessories include suedette basketweave wedges, an elegant coral stone bracelet and a five-strand gold and coral beaded necklace. Complete the outfit with a coral bow clutch from Topshop. The dress and shoes are neutral, but the jewelry gives the ensemble a pop of color. Sarah O’Brien says, “ I feel that for a spring wedding it is appropriate to wear lighter colors such cream but not too bright of colors because you do not want to compete with the bride, and you want to look appropriate for the occasion.”
The last outfit that I put together is all from Topshop. The dress is a coral colored sleeveless tuck dress with a waistline right above the hips. Since coral and turquoise are two of the biggest colors this season, I paired this dress with turquoise jewelry: a bead wrapped rhinestone bracelet and a drape chain necklace with a turquoise stone on it.
