Valentine’s Day is definitely one of my favorite holidays, mostly because so much pink is involved! I also love it because pretty much the whole world just celebrates love for one day. I’ve only had a boyfriend for two Valentine’s Days and they were both in high school, so I’ve never really gone all out to celebrate it. I usually end up just hanging out with a group of girls, and we paint our nails, do crafts, and other super girly things. This year, my plan is to go with a group of all single girls to Laguna Beach, watch the sunset, and then go to dinner. We’ll probably end up back at someone’s house and watch a really cheesy RomCom of some sorts and ball our eyes out while stuffing our faces with chocolate (that wasn’t given to us by boyfriends) and ice cream.
Just because you don’t have a special someone to celebrate with this year doesn’t mean you can’t give a gift to some one you do love! While shopping at Marshalls, I put together a cute little gift for one of my best friends that likes pretty much the same kind of stuff I do (i.e. gold, glitter, pink, nail polish, etc.). As you can see below, the color scheme of the items I picked out fits perfectly with her taste and goes well with Valentine’s Day too! I also couldn’t find a gift bag that was the right size to fit the handbag in, so I decided to just put a bow on it and use that as the gift bag!
