Today I’m sharing a casual outfit that would be perfect for Thanksgiving this week. I actually wore this outfit to a Friendsgiving on Saturday night! For those kinds of get-togethers, I used to always dress up more than others, but recently I’ve started to dress down more so that I feel more comfortable. Comfortability is especially important for Thanksgiving in my mind because after eating all that food, you just want to lay down on the couch and fall into a deep food coma. #amiright?! I think comfy jeans, a t-shirt and a fleece jacket is the perfect comfy combo for a chill Thanksgiving evening.
Before I continue, let me just say that Target is the ish. Over the past few years, they have really stepped up their game in the fashion department and have great trendy pieces, of course at affordable prices. Let me also say that this is not a sponsored post! I truly love Target and am writing about it because I am a regular Target shopper.
The other day when my mom and I were picking up “a few things” at Target (because you can never leave with just a few things…), we were browsing through the women’s clothing section and I found this amazing fleece jacket that was on sale for only $10!!! It shows online that it’s $15, but you may be able to find it on sale in store still.
I bought these booties at Marshalls a few weeks ago and have been wearing them nonstop. They’re super comfortable and I love that they have a bit of a heel because I don’t really like how super flat boots look on my feet, and I can’t stand being in higher heels all day.
By the way… I have a special announcement! Tomorrow morning I will be on the KTLA 5 (LA/OC area) morning news in an Old Navy fashion segment with blogger Sydne Summer!!! This is such an amazing opportunity and I am so excited for tomorrow! If you live in the area, be sure to either tune in or set your DVR!
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Do you think you’ll be dressing up or down? Keep an eye out for another Thanksgiving outfit here in the next couple days!
