This past weekend, a few of my friends and I went to Joshua Tree & Palm Springs to celebrate my birthday! I’ve driven past Joshua Tree National Park quite a few times and actually stayed in a hotel right next to it earlier this year, but had never actually been inside the park until this weekend. It was everything I imagined it would be and more. I find it so amazing that God created these beautiful places for us to enjoy, and there are so many just in California! My friend Chelsea and I actually decided this weekend that we are going to visit all of the national parks located in California (except the Channel Islands because they’re too expensive to get to) by the end of this year. There are a total of 13 here in California and so far I’ve checked 2 off my list and will (hopefully) be checking another one off on Saturday–YOSEMITE!!!
Anyways, back to Joshua Tree. We spent most of the day on Saturday exploring all of the must-see places in Joshua Tree, and ended the day with a beautiful sunset in a little picnic area. I bought this adorable boho fringe cardigan at T.J. Maxx a couple days before the trip and ended up wearing it to my birthday dinner with friends on Friday night as well! I wore this exact outfit to dinner, but dressed it up a bit with a sequin tee instead.
