You’ve most likely noticed that the content here on allGLAMMEDup isn’t so “glam” as it used to be. That’s because I’ve been trying to reflect my actual style and what I actually wear. I’ve also been so incredibly inspired by a bunch of travel and adventure Instagrammers that I follow on my personal account. Some of my favorites are @matteoewing, @samciurdar, @amandaseeyoudarrr, @stteezzy, @alexgunnels, @adventureconwards, @ownthelight, and of course @viewcalifornia (my friend Conrad).
There’s such a huge community of photographers/adventurers on Instagram, and it’s been so amazing and exciting discovering that a large portion of them are Christ followers! This weekend, there was even a conference going on in San Diego put on by @socality, which is a community that “is committed to creating spaces of belonging online and turning these into real life transactions. [They] exist to build local communities and connect these globally. Through [their] platforms [they] connect and create influencers for eternity and mobilize individuals to serve and impact their local communities.” Sounds pretty awesome, right?!
I SO wish I could have gone, because it looked like so much fun, but yesterday morning, I left for Lost Canyon, which is in the Arizona mountains. I’m there for Work Crew with Mariners Church College Group. All week long, we serve the high school students in the dining hall. We also get some free time, and are actually going up a day early to do our own “thang” 😉 By the time this post is live, I will already have watched the sunrise over the Grand Canyon, which I’m pretty stoked about.
Anyways, the point of this post is to inspire you guys to inspire others and be inspired by others! Whether it’s by travel/adventure bloggers, fashion icons, or even your friends. There’s always opportunity to get out into the world and experience more!
