Also, today is International Women’s Day! Yes, this day is about embracing our “power” and whatnot, but let’s make it more about building each other up and encouraging the women around us. I was just watching the Bachelor Women Tell All from last night with my mom, and it’s so sad how much the girls tear each other down and stab each other in the backs. Don’t be like that. Don’t look at other women as competition–look at them as your support! We were made to be in community and help each other through life.
Over the past year, I have gained a group of girlfriends that I never thought I would ever have. We all have girls nights once a week, talk about life, love God together, drink wine, and laugh together. I am so thankful for all of them and I pray that either you have and will have women like that in your life!
