Happy Memorial Day! Today is a day when we get to give honor to all of the current soldiers, veterans, and fallen soldiers. Actually, not even just soldiers–even the ones who are not on the frontlines like the nurses, engineers, technicians, etc., who are also such an important part of fighting for this country . I’m so thankful for all of them who have served the United States so that we can be free! I can’t even imagine living in a country where I wouldn’t be able to have the rights I do as a woman, wear what I want, or openly worship my God!
In the midst of all of the BBQing, lounging by the pool, etc., I challenge you to think about why you’re thankful for our troops.
