Okay, seriously guys, why does J.Crew have to be so perfect?! Every season they seem to get better and better, and it was no exception at their presentation this week in New York.
This collection was partially inspired by “California surf”, as stated by J.Crew’s Tom Mora, but there is also a “reference to a theme of summer on the Venice Lido, circa the turn of the twentieth century,” when you would dress up for a trip to the beach. Although the pieces are polished and “express some formality”, they are not fussy, which is great for the summertime (Style.com).
