If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been slacking quite a lot on keeping up with my blog posts, and haven’t posted anything in over a week! It’s been driving me crazy because I love this space so much. The reason I haven’t posted is because I’ve been so busy with my new job as the photographer/graphic designer/webmaster at Daisy Shoppe, and also went on a retreat with Mariners College Group this past weekend.
Anyway, today I’m sharing the last of my Joshua Tree photos with you! Before heading to La Quinta & Palm Springs on my birthday trip last month, we woke up early to catch the sunrise and snap some photos. Sunrises are seriously the BEST in the desert, especially when you can see the mountains in the distance! As you can see, the snowy mountains were lit up and almost looked neon pink and blue.
Outfit Details:
Activewear Jacket via Marshalls, Stylus Denim Jacket, Leggings via Marshalls, Forever 21 Beanie, Cotton On Socks, Candie’s Boots
We stayed at the Travelodge in Yucca Valley which was about a half hour drive from the park entrance, and we were planning on going into the park to Jumbo Rocks to see the sunrise, but we didn’t end up leaving early enough to make it all the way there before the sun peeked out over the horizon. Instead, we found an area where there weren’t any buildings or anything to obstruct our view of the sun coming up over the mountains, and where we also had a brilliant view of the snowy mountains to the west.
Stay tuned for pictures from our tour of La Quinta with Perego coming later this week!
