This past Wednesday night I went to Laguna Beach… again! This time I went with my friend Nicole, who was living in Amsterdam for the last few months of 2015, and I hadn’t seen her since she got back home. I’d say our feelings towards Laguna are mutual, which is why we always decided to meet up there! We wandered around downtown area for a bit, then started to take pictures on the beach towards the end of golden hour.
Earlier that day, some friends and I were driving down Newport Coast Road towards the coastline, and saw that there was an IMMENSE amount of smog covering the Pacific Ocean. Like, a ton more than usual. Although it looked so disgusting and we were basically breathing in that air, I knew it would make for a BOMB sunset. And I was right…
Do you see the color of the sky?! That’s not photoshopped, people! That’s actually what it looked like. This was the most beautiful sunset I had seen in quite a while, and we were in the perfect spot to see it (the Laguna Beach tide pools).
