If you follow a lot of blogs, then you most likely and hopefully know who Julia Engel of Gal Meets Glam is. I absolutely love her style and she has been a huge inspiration for me and my blog over the past couple years. In fact, she is one of the people who inspired me to start traveling and take my blog in a new and elevated direction. She and her husband Thomas create such beautiful content that I am constantly inspired by them.
Not only has Julia inspired me, but she has inspired many brands as well, including AIBI Watches. When AIBI reached out to me about featuring one of their watches on my blog and I saw that they had one named after Julia Engel and that it has rhinestones in it, I immediately said YES! I’ve never been much of a watch girl, but as my style has evolved to a more classic look, I definitely think a good classic staple watch is a necessary piece in my accessory collection. What I love about this watch is that it has a vintage feel with the cognac strap, but a modern & glam twist with the rhinestones on the face. It also comes in a few other different variations, which you can see here.
I decided to style this outfit drawing inspiration from Gal Meets Glam, but still reflecting my style as well. Julia always says that blush is a neutral, and I have recently begun to agree! Blush really is so versatile and can be worn any time of the year.
I styled the blush peasant top with these JustFab flared jeans that I’m totally obsessed with and give the outfit a 70s vibe. I’ve been on the hunt for a good pair over the past couple months, but was having trouble finding a pair with a long enough inseam that would work with heels. This pair is so long that I may end up hemming them! So if you have longer legs and are on the hunt for a pair of good flare jeans, definitely look into buying them! Plus, they’re only $40.
