I spent most of my weekend in Laguna Beach, Saturday with one of my best friends for a belated birthday lunch at Urth Caffe, and Sunday with my parents. We went to this place called The Stand, and they have all vegetarian & vegan stuff, but there are SO many options! It’s also not one of those weird vegan places (because I don’t do that). I ordered the Special Burrito which had Alfalfa sprouts, salsa, guacamole, lettuce, and then I ordered a side of quinoa and put some of that in it as well to add some substance (the burrito comes with beans, but I asked for no beans since I don’t like them). Although the burrito was absolutely delicious and really refreshing, I don’t think I would ever be able to be vegan or vegetarian–I need my meat!
After lunch, we headed down to Aliso State Beach, which is just south of the Montage. I’d been there once to take pictures of the sunset, but the tide was much higher, so it actually looked totally different. It was the perfect day for a walk on the beach, and was a high of about 65. I do wish I dressed a little warmer than I did, but I’m just craving summer so much that I wanted to dress like it! Luckily we’re getting some temps in the mid 70s this week, so I’ll probably head down to the beach at least a few more times in the next several days.
Caitlin from Dash of Darling is one of my favorite bloggers to follow, and I’ve been getting so much inspiration from her latest posts on Instagram from Tulum. I guess that’s why I’m craving summer & bright colors so much right now! This picture was actually inspired by one of hers–see it here.
I’ve been kinda obsessed with Pura Vida Bracelets lately and have been ordering a TON of them over the past couple months. I added in a couple of these dainty stone bracelets from my shop to add some texture to the arm party.
