My Arizona Trip: Part 1 | Super Blood Moon & Sunset in Sedona, AZ
If you follow me on Instagram, then you most likely saw that I went to Arizona last month (as well as this month!). I’ve been meaning to post pictures from both trips on here, but I honestly just kept forgetting!
Today I’m sharing the first part of my first AZ trip in Sedona. On this trip, I went with my friend Chelsea, and we both really wanted to take pictures of the Super Blood Moon that was happening that night. We made a last minute decision to drive to Sedona to take pictures of it and were driving around for about 2 hours looking for the perfect spot to see the moon come up over the horizon. It was pretty stressful, but as we were driving through a neighborhood, we asked an older couple if they knew where the best place to see the moon was, and they told us to drive up the hill, park, and then hike up to the top of the hill. That couple was such a blessing because it ended up being the highest point that we could have gone in Sedona to get the best view of the moon coming up over the rocks/mountains! They also ended up coming up later to join us and we talked with them for about an hour or so.
The beautiful sunset in Sedona, AZ
I hope you enjoyed these pictures! This spot we found was 100% one of the best places to watch the sunset in Sedona.
