When my parents and I visited Shaver Lake last week, we stayed at the Shaver Lake Village Hotel which was absolutely delightful! They have a building with eight hotel rooms, a few individual cabins, as well as cabin suites across the street. Oh, and let’s not forget the teepee! It was completely covered in snow, but I bet it would be amazing to stay in during the summer.
Right below this neon sign in the lobby was a bookcase full of DVDs for guests to check out and watch in their rooms. They have every type of movie including everything from romance to thriller, and even stand-up comedy.

A complimentary continental breakfast is included with your stay, and this breakfast room was absolutely adorable and still fully decorated for Christmas!
I LOVED this antler chandelier! Just imagine it in gold…!
Below is me with the owner of the hotel, Josh. My parents and I chatted with him a few times and he was so nice! He told us all about how Shaver Lake is just as beautiful in the summer and different things they do at the hotel when the weather is warm. Above you can see the Forest Theatre, which is where they play outdoor movies and guests can set out their chairs and blankets under the stars.
My parents and I are definitely planning on making a second trip to the Shaver Lake Village Hotel in the summer and I can’t wait!
