On my last road trip with my friend Lauren, our plan was to go to Mammoth and then through Tioga Pass to Yosemite. But it snowed the first night we were there so they closed Tioga Pass! We were waiting around until around 11:30am and at that point no none knew when the road would open back up, so we were sitting in the car trying to figure out what to do. We both had never been to Lake Tahoe, so we flipped a coin and decided to head up north to South Lake Tahoe! It had snowed even more there than in Mammoth and looked like a Winter Wonderland.
