Can you believe the first month of 2020 is already over?! I really don’t know where the time has gone, and last year just seemed like it FLEW by.
At the end of 2019, I was having a hard time reflecting on the year because all I could think about were the bad things that happened and how painful a lot of the year was. But when I made this Year in Review book from Mixbook, it made me sit down and look through all my photos from the past year and remember how many great memories I actually have and how God had blessed me so much.
If you haven’t heard of Mixbook, they’re a company that makes photo books, cards, prints, and more. You just upload your photos from your computer or phone (or social media!) and can customize everything! OR, if you’re making a photo book, you can have Mixbook auto place the photos for you, cutting down a lot of time. It’s basically like a modern day scrapbook! 🙂
The book is really good quality with a soft touch matte hardcover, and you can choose between semi gloss, pearl finish, premium matte lay flat, or premium lustre lay flat for the inside pages. You can also choose between a soft, hard, or leather cover!
They have several different design options for the Year in Review books, and I chose the Abstract style.
So I thought I’d share my top 5 highlights of 2019 with you, which is actually a page in the book!
- I made so many new girlfriends through blogging this year!
- I became even closer with my bestie, Taylor, even though we live so far away from each other.
- I got to join my boyfriend, Colton, and his parents on their annual Kauai trip and it was breathtaking!
- My parents and I visited my dad’s family in New Zealand for the first time all together in years.
A Mixbook would actually make a great gift! I think I’m going to end up giving this one to my mom because she’s been asking me to make her one for years ?They actually have different book themes for any occasion, like Holiday, Seasonal, Travel, Baby books, Professional/Business, Yearbooks, Kids, and more.
They also have wedding books which I think is a great idea! They have guest books, and also regular wedding photo books that you can put all your wedding photos in. I’ll probably end up doing this once Colton and I get married!
I know it’s a while away, but this would be the perfect Mother’s Day book! Like I said, my mom has asked for this numerous times and I know she will love it. It’s probably one of the most personal gifts you can give!
Overall, I love how the book turned out and I’ll definitely be ordering another one in the future! I think it would be a great addition to your coffee table! Head on over to Mixbook to make your Year in Review book now!
