For part 2 of my Joshua Tree series, I’m sharing pictures from our hike through the Split Rock Trail. As you can see below, there’s a giant boulder at the entrance of the trail that basically looks like it was cut in half. Who knows how it got like that, but it looks so cool! The trail we took was a big loop of 2.9 miles that started and ended at the parking lot by the Split Rock. It was a pretty easy walk that basically anyone can do! There are a few places we stopped at to take pictures too (as you will see…).
There were so many giant boulders! Basically what a bouldering person’s dreams are made of.

My friend Chelsea went up on this little hill to do one yoga pose, and then started doing a bunch of them (for the pictures of course 😉 so we all stopped to stretch for a couple minutes.

If you’re headed to Joshua Tree and are wanting to do a longer walk that’s not too strenuous, definitely go to Split Rock!
