Pedego La Quinta

La Quinta, CA

Back in January when my friends and I had a desert weekend getaway, we visited La Quinta to check out Pedego Electric Bikes. Pedego has locations all over the country where you can rent electric bikes by the hour or for the day. I love these bikes because you can actually pedal and get some exercise, or you can just use the motor and cruise around without breaking a sweat (which is what I did most of the time)! 😉

The owner, Bryan, gave us a little backstory about him & opening his Pedego location 2 years ago as of March 15th. After playing pro golf for the last 7 years and traveling around the world, Bryan saw people using electric bikes to get around. One of his friends introduced him to Pedego, and he opened up a shop in no time!

When you rent bikes from Pedego, they give you many options of routes you can take. On the route we took, we stopped at 3 different locations: the Empire Polo Club (where Coachella & Stagecoach are held), Lake Cahuilla, and Silver Rock Resort, which was a total of about 30 miles.

We actually got to watch a polo match and it was SO COOL!! We grabbed an info pamphlet and read more about the sport on the drive home and it’s such an insane (and expensive) sport!

I of course chose the pink bike 😉

Overall, our experience with Pedego was absolutely incredible and I can’t wait for my next ride! It’s such a great way to get around a city because you get to see it all, breathe in the fresh air, and have the wind blowing in your hair. Cheesy, I know, but it’s true!

If you’re heading to Palm Springs area, Coachella, or Stagecoach soon, you definitely need to try out Pedego while you’re there!
